Monitors milk weights and flow rates for better management of individual cows. The cow information such as milk weights and flow rates tell you if your cows are performing, and daily deviations on the speed and quantity of milk lets you know if certain cows need attention. Low production could be an indication of heat stress, lameness, or mastitis. You need to know if cows are not producing to their potential. Want to know what cows had lower than average production? The ScanNexus software can print a list of cows that have lower than average production for the day. You can set parameters on the percentage of deviation. From there you can check detailed milk production on any cow and display it with a help full line graph. A quick glance of historical and current milk weights identifies low production so that managers can take appropriate action. |
